Hi fellow Northamtoinains,

I've just bought myself a 96 Mini Sprite, was wondering if you could recommend some places for servicing her :')

Welcome - I'm from Northampton too.  The Mini Hospital used to be great but its closed down now but apparently its under new management.  Simon Tuckley Motors just off Birtchfield Road are good, they race in the Mighty Mini series so they're ideal for SPI servicing.  There are a few others - Mini clinic in Moulton and Mini Bitz in St James but I haven't used either for years so can't vouch for them.

Thank you for your help, I've just googled Simon Tuckley Motors and will give them a phone tomorrow. I've also ordered a haynes manual so hope to do some work myself too!

No worries at all.  I don't drive mine too often but I'll definitely keep an eye out.

Well worth having a go yourself. Servicing is simple,and it's a great sense of achievement and another feather in your cap. Fellow Northamptonshire owner here based in Corby.
