Has anyone tried these http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=33420, I want to upgrade my shocks but looking to keep costs down to about £20 per shock. These look like a good upgrade, any suggestions of any alternatives? How much better are the Kayaba gas-a-just shocks? Are they much stiffer/adjustable?

Cheers

They are not adjustable, but considered to be one of the best std replacement shocks.

Just fitted a set of Ripspeed Hi-Los and Gaz lowered adjustable suspension. And they are excellent, the ride is improved and so is the handling!

K, cheers for the replys guys. I think I might go for the kayaba gas upgrade shocks. I was tempted by Gaz adjustables, but as it's going into the winter I'd prob just keep them on one setting and the adjuster would cease up on me, plus I can't really justify the extra £60 cus i'm just about to head off into my second year at uni. Student finances suck! haha.

they kyb gas adjust shocks are i would say one of the best road shocks out there for the money, got a pair of fronts from mitp for £5

as for money if u cant afford them then get standard fitment shocks either from kyb or boge should be around 10-12quid each

I've seen the grey gas-a-just ones on ebay for £100 for all four, pretty good as they're quite highly rated as step up from standard.
