Doing a bare metal restoration on a 1982 mayfair and have been advised to use epoxy primer, but i'm not sure how much i'm going to need? I am getting the whole shell respayed in and out including boot and engine bay.

Thanks jamie.

Does that include the floor (underside)?

I used Jotun 87 for the underside, purchased from Bayside Marine (either through eBay or from there own site - whichever was cheapest), excellent product and greatly admired on the Mig Welding Forums.

I purchased a 5 litre tin which did my rear subframe, 5 x 10 Inch Weller Wheels, inside the boot, all of the underside and inside the front.

For the inside and outside of the car I am using Lechler Epoxy, excellent stuff, great finish and easy to sand, again greatly admired on the Mig Welding Forum.

I bought 2 litres which I have just used up and I have another 2 litres but only have one more coat to apply on the outside.
