This came with a car we bought.
Turns over by hand but not ran it.
Any suggestions on what I should put it up for sale for? It was suggested it's a 1300GT engine, whatever that is!

Rust in the inlets, take the head off and look for bore pitting from water ingress.
Only fair to the buyer.

1300GT engines are quite sought after, essentially a 1300GT engine is the same engine as fitted to the Innocenti Cooper 1300. Unfortunately this is not a 1300GT engine.

 

354 = Yd+Bf+Te = Mechanical petrol pump/Lucas 16 AC alternator with negative earth/Standard ratio remote change gearbox

E = Carburettor crankcase ventilation - single carburettor engine

 

Just a standard engine from an ADO16 Austin/Morris 1300 but quite possibly standard bore as it has the original number tag on it. Well worth pulling the head off to check the bore size and condition and probably worth around £300 on ebay, maybe more if there is no bore wear.
