Hi there guys,
I have been toying with the idea of fitting an air horn to my 1998 cooper s and was wondering if it was an easy or hard job especially regarding the mounting of it?
Thanks!

I've not fitted one myself but I've seen you can buy kits with everything needed to fit them

Wouldn't say it's a hard job

The only snag I have ever seen with air horns is that the compressor tends to be quite bulky and moderately heavy and has to be fitted somewhere. The kits come complete with relay and instructions, as already suggested, and are not particularly challenging to fit, if you have the space. On early Minis there is lots of space above the clutch on the inner wing, but if you have a servo and/or ECU it is not a good idea to obstruct the need for future maintenance. You may have to go somewhere under the wing, or even inside the car, under the front seat.

But they sound great, so it will be worth the effort, as long as you have some space available.
