Hi,

Just bought a spare engine for rebuild, stripped down and found in good condition.

However, I can't find any reference / direct replacement bearings for the ones I've removed. Can any one identify these numbers?

Main bearings - KT S1229SA .040 & JS S653SA .040
Thrust - GS1231L
Big ends - 5146 .040

Haven't had chance to measure the crank yet, any ideas?

These are the Big Ends  http://minispares.co...|Back to search

Thrusts   http://minispares.co...ck to catalogue

however, I can't find the Main at Mini Spares  and it seems in 0.040" O/S they are a little hard to come by, though someone will have them. They are post 1990 A+ types.

However, I would strongly suggest measuring the crank and at a 0.040" grind on the mains and pins, it's already likely had a hard life.

Try FW Thorton when you work out what you need if normal suppliers can't help.
