When I am testing No 2 at TDC on compression I get air coming out of No 4 plug hole. Any ideas ?

I have lapped the valves in and put the head back on without the push rods and manifolds. Rechecked and no air coming between no 2 & no 4 but I can hear air coming from No 3 inlet & exhaust ports, so I will lap those valves again. So it looks like the No 2 & No 4 was a valve problem. However on no’s 1, 2 & 4 cylinders I can hear air coming from the push rod holes.

The reason that I started looking in the first place is because I had lost water from the radiator and it looks like it is coming from a stud hole. Photo attached.
