I just bought a new engine and it didnt come with a slave clutch cylinder.

I am wondering if my cylinder from my 850 (85H/101 on block) will work on the 1000cc engine i got.(99H/791)

Cheers

I haven't got engine numbers memorized. However, if you're sticking with the same clutch type the cylinder should be OK. (That is to say, if the clutch on the 850 was a pre-Verto type and so is the one on the 998, you should be OK).

Perhaps, but Brand new AP ones from minispares.com are only £20.
