I use my mini alot on track days and having problems with brake fade. Got 4pot on front and kad rear discs. Runing green stuff pads. Just wondering what other people use.

Green stuff are just road pads. You will need to fit suitable ones at the track. And then warm them up.

Mintex without doubt. EBC are novel pads in my opinion.

Mintex 1144 on the front. For serious competition use M1166 or M1177 on the front.
Use AP600 or equivalent brake fluid.
Your rear discs don't do much work and drums would be as good.

Thanks very much for the info. Can't find info between the mintex pads 1144 also seen then 1155 but no information on them

I could never see the point of rear discs on a mini, a total waste of time and probably more unsprung weight than a alloy drum set up.

Actually weight saving is the only reason, the KAD setup is lighter that the drum setup. Other than that there is nothing in it.

You do save a bit of weight with rear discs, but the problem is that the rears do so little work it is difficult to get a small enough brake pad and get it to the correct temperature.

For racing they would be OK so long as the regulations allow them, but for a road car they are pretty pointless. They certainly don't improve total braking ability at all.
