Widest You Can Go On Standard Arches?

I've got the standard black plastic arches and just wondering if 6x12 minilites will fit or am I better just going with the safer option of 5 or 5.5"

5.5 * 12, IMO. 6J stick out slightly. 5.5J looks much better. :shades:

I think It's technically illegal if the tyre sticks out further than the wheel arch. 5.5J looks miles better anyhoo, fits the standard 'special arches' perfectly. :shades:
