I had master cylinder servo brakes on my mini. But I have gone to single line pot system. Problem I have got is with the brake pedal. If you push hard on the brake pedal then tale foot off it comes up but there is probs anther 100mm left where does not come up its self unless you pull the pedal up. The brakes stick on a bit then when they are hot. Is there a different type off pedal box or spring?

Time to take it off and check the pivots fir corrosion. Then you can check if the piston is moving freely in the MC.

As Nick has said, you need to check to see if the pedal is sticking on the shaft.

Although there is a spring on the shaft

This was covered a few days back when someone asked about getting rid of the servo. The springs are different and the brake pedal itself is different to. You're best finding a non-servo pedal box and either switching out wholesale or at least pulling the pivot out and swapping the springs and pedal (this is what I did, it's a fiddle but possible).

How old is your Mini? In many cases it is illegal to convert to single line brakes, and in any case your insurance company would take a very dim view of it. There is never any valid reason for doing it anyway.

1989 is past the cutoff date for single line systems so they can not be used and should fail the MOT as well as being a criminal offence under the Construction and Use Regulations. Why anyone would ever want to remove a safety feature is well beyond my comprehension.
