Hi all
I can't seem to find a how to on the front teardrop bushes. Mine had a front end a year ago and they were in pieces then but the body shop refitted them before I could get new ones. I now have poly ones to go in but have no idea how to fit them or what they should look like.
Do they just sit between the panels or should there be something holding them in place?

Thanks for any info you have?
Nic

one bolt to the body and one bolt to the subframe. there is also a peg into the body to locate.

one of the easiest jobs on a mini. (bolt to body can be a pain).

So they just slide out or do you have to drop the subframe slightly?

These polys are not properly designed and are going to give you serious problems, including shell cracking. I strongly advise a full set of solid mounts, with toeboard reinforcement plates. Then it will handle properly, and not crack.

Depends on the fit of the subframe and shell. It may just drop or you may have to slightly lever the front panel against the subframe to get it out. It'll be obvious once you've removed the bolts.

I forgot to put mine in on the rebuild but found that with a wee bit of patience and finger gymnastics you can get them to sit in and then bolt up

google up pictures and you should be able to see exactly how they fit

there is a teeny weeny nipple that locates to get it to line up properly
