Hello all,

I'm seeking some advice having just stripped down my first gearbox (pre A+).

Where the interlock spool inserts into the gearbox casing, on the inside, there appears to be a chunk of the alu casting missing.

Is this likely to affect the operation at all? Hoping the casing isn't a write off as so far the rest looks reasonable.

Thanks for your advice, picture attached.

Henry

Thanks - it doesn't appears to affect the operation. Just trying to decide if to file it down and hope for the best or just leave it as is...
