I was wondering if any of u have any experiences with building your own rotary for your mini shell.

I saw one at a jag restorer, and it really made bodywork/undercoating easy and effective.. I'm thinking about making my own, but im not sure how to make one for a mini.

Anyone got some pictures/links/ideas?

Thanks..

Do you mean a jig/ spit type thing? I've seen a few on eBay in the past so worth checking.

I did a bit of work on the underside of my estate just by rolling it on its side, easily done with 2 people and a few old sofa cushions :proud:

hi mate i made 1 out of bit of scrap metal and some scaffold poles and some caster wheels
2 triangles at each end with the wheels on and the scaffold joining them at the bottom then some more scaffold through the middle of the car and its brill turn the car through 360 and hold it in any position theres loads of room front and back to do anything to the car best thing ive ever done for a mini over the years took about an hour to make as easy as that and its strong plus you can move it around very easily if i can get into my mates back yard and uncover it will take some pics for you
