If I have bp7es in the car and should really have bp6es would it make it run bit hotter

no, plugs can not effect the engine temp.

 

but if you engine is has a high compression and is run hard plugs with I higher heat handling ability would be good.

 

take it for a run and stop and check the plug colours.

i did that, seems a bit rich hasnt been on dyno yet.

 

on the way back( just got home ) from the pub 15 miles away from home i put in the 6 series plugs 

 

and it seems to run slightly cooler kept at 90 didnt go to 95 as with the 7s

 

timing is spot on, would the 6 be dispersing the heat better

 

i have around 10.1 comp
