Hi guys,

So i recently brought a 1990 Mini Mayfair Automatic - which is in need of some TLC (a lot bloody more than the eBay listing described), so she is being completely stripped down.

So i've pulled out all the dash and was very careful and labelled all of the wires as they were removed from the switches etc, but i must have been distracted as i now have one wire going into the loom that i can't figure out.

It's a green wire with a brown (maybe orange) stripe with a black connector at the end and it has a black plastic cover. I've taken some pictures and circled the wire.

I've checked all connections and switches and none seem to be missing anything, i have taken out the stereo and heater, so it could be one of these and it did have a crap Moss security alarm which i have removed, but it was bodged into the loom.

Any help would be gratefully received.

I think it's the heater power supply.
LGO: light green/ orange
Should be a live wire so easy to check with a bulb or better, a voltmeter.

Woooooo, think I'll make myself a cuppa.
Thanks for the idea! 😁
Glad you'll have heating this winter.
