"Mini Festival returns to Brands Hatch for a mighty celebration of the UK’s favourite small car. Hundreds of prized classic and modern Minis will gather together for the 13th edition of this treasured event. Door-to-door action will ensue with classic Mini Miglias, Mini Se7ens and the Sanwa Trophy, hosting a packed grid of superbly presented pre-66 Minis. A highlight will be the returning ‘Fastest Mini in the World’ race, with MINI CHALLENGE CLUBSPORT, Super Mighty and Mighty Minis bringing pocket rocket power.
A vast display of iconic Minis will shine proudly around the legendary Indy circuit with an extensive trade area and plenty more for Mini enthusiasts to enjoy! The charismatic compact cars will shine in a grand finale track parade."

I'm going to the Goodwood Breakfast meet instead this year.  I went to Brands last year but was disappointed.

Although it's reasonably local, to me, a prior appointment with 250+ other Laverdas, in the Midlands, wins out.

I just got back from Brands, a decent day out, I think the attendance was higher this year, highlight of the day was the commentator on the show and shine, who obviously didn't have a scooby about mini's but battled on with great spirit and gusto, low point of the day was being pushed out of the way by some official tw#t because the actual main c#nt of this country Sir Kier ( Jimmy Saville looks OK to me ) Starmer wanted to walk around ( turns out he likes binis which explains alot)

Thank God I went to Goodwood instead as I might be inside by now if I had seen him!

I agree the attendance seemed very good for both classic and modern Minis helped by the sunny weather early in the day. Some good racing as always especially the Min Miglias & Mini Sevens.

Thankfully I did not see probably the worst Prime Minister the UK has ever had....was he really there and if so why?

Probably some convoluted PR stunt showing he was " down with the kids" I was unfortunate to see him walking up the hill out of the pits, I don't think he stayed long as I saw him p#ss off in a helicopter. There was at least one team using that oh so planet friendly bio fuel, so perhaps that was the reason for the visit.

Hi

He was sent there by the b$&ch of a chancellor to see how she can clobber us pensioners on our hobbies as she has nearly exhausted all other ways.
