Hi everyone, I have been reading the various threads on here with the hope that I can find a solution to our minis light issue.
First off its a 2002 cooper.

Problem is that when turning the lights on the drivers side was failing to light and passengers was flickering like a strobe.

If we turn full beams on for a few seconds that normly sorted it or if we put the windows down it would often ignight both.

But not always.

So we have swapped the lamps over and also the control units (ballasts) over and the problem remained exactly the same. We have also tried various combinations of the lams with the control units.

We then picked up a second hand headlight incase it was the ignighter. But the problem remains.

We are totally lost.

Anyone got any suggestions ?

Sounds like you are on the wrong forum.

This is a forum for classic Minis not BMW minis. Try totalmini or mini2
