While you are giving your mini , it's last polish of the year ....

 

check the antifreeze -

 

battery levels -

 

fan belt & leads / rotor cap / arm -

 

bit of oil in the door locks & hinges ,

 

& rubber lube on the door seals

 

wash / wipers & lights

 

even if it is going to be stuck in the garage - it still gets cold in there

 

& don't give me any bull about heated garages - they don't exist

Heated and dried garages do exist, I got one.

Good advise.

 

I'd also add...

 

Fresh oil if it's going to sit around for a while.

 

My boiler sits in the corner of my garage which keeps it nice and warm, I've also got a Mitsubishi dehumidifier to keep it nice a dry.

Mine sits outside on the road.  Every day of the year  It also gets driven every day of the year
