I am trying to remove the flywheel from my 93 mini, i have tried pullers and they broke. i also tried a block of wood through the starter motor hole and hitting it with a hammer and it still wont move. i have basicly tried every trick suggested so i was hoping someone would have an answer to this problem. ( i have removed the center bolt and grooved washer thing)

you have a Haynes manual?
make sure the slot in the crank is horizontal.
lock crank in place with a suitable device,
fit puller and apply force. go have supper a few beers sleep come back apply a bit more force, go about your day apply more force then maybe shock the bolt with a sharp blow.
they can take a long time to release.
or you could buy a proper puller like the B´stad from GuessWorks.

It once took me 2 weeks to get the flywheel off of a 1997 MPI. I tried everything including my very big puller, heating and rapidly cooling, freezing then heating then rapid cooling. In the end it just popped off.
Patience is needed, sometimes in large quantities.

With a proper puller, it's a piece of cake

I don't advise any kind of blowtorch for obvious reasons!
