Hi everyone

 

Just after some info on engine number: 12H354E. Ive been told its out of a Austin 1300 GT, and would just like some confirmation from the mini experts. ive had a look around for some info on this engine code and cant find much. How can i tell its the GT model?

 

Also, im a bit confused about what carburetor(s) i need to use with this engine. I read you should use x2 HS2 carbs?

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

As far as I'm aware, the GTs had a 11 stud cylinder head with bigger valves and a slightly longer exhaust duration on the Cam Profile.
