Hi

Since my accident i've had my car fixed, which ment new rear lights on the passenger side. However i noticed yesterday that my rear light wasn't working. the break light is fine but the rear just won't work. I've checked the bulb and its fine and i've checked the wiring but can't find what is wrong. Has a fuse gone or is there faulty wiring somewhere?

Hope you can help.

it's worth checking the fuses yep, also check the earth points around the car, give em a good WD40'ing

sounds like it's an earth, as i thought the rear lights had a fuse to share, unless there's inline ones... hmm

swap the bulbs over left to right, if the problem stays with the unit then it's a wiring problem, if it moves with the bulb, then replace the bulb.

Yeah i realised that the bulb would go in either way and noticed that only the one way would allow both contacts to be connected. would not work either way.
