Hi,

 

I think I need to change my passenger side/front wheel bearing. It makes a similar sound to this in the video, although it's more quiet. It's making the wub-wub sound rather than a constant groan. 

 

I have found this kit online, could you also tell me if this is all that I need? For the price I may as well get the kit and change the both for just £11. I have a 1995 SPi with front discs if this helps at all.

those bearing may just last weeks, get the correct ones. like (as you link to mini sport) https://www.minispor...-1984-2001.html

 

you also need the correct tools and it is advised to get the washer to press the bearing in.

 

tools are covered in your Haynes manual. consider that the hub will/may need removing so ball joint splitter also needed. torque wrench suitable socket. breaker bar. oh don't forget to loosen the hub nut before removing the wheel/hub.

Thanks for that. 

I'll most likely hand the job over to my local mechanic haha. I'm not a practical person and I don't have any specialist tools (specialist in my eyes anyway), so by the time I buy everything and struggle to do it, it will be cheaper to pay the mechanic for labour.

That's pretty shameful to see so many suppliers selling these.
