would u put sound deadening flashing on your minis floor? ive heard it would cause a water trap, is there a way of doing it properly?

A water trap was being discussed earlier I think. Have a search for the most recent thread on soundproofing. Such as here.

no it wont cause a water trap, you mini shouldn't be leaking there anyway! on the front floor pans i would justy put a nice square of flashing in the big pressed square in the floor where you feet go.

on the rears, you can line the whole thing, but make sure you have undersealed the underside of the car well. i replaced those metal crappy grommits for rubber ones, and undersealed over them.
