Hello guys,
ive got a 1988 998 engine with a 1275 cam fitted. The cars been sat for just over a year and I've recently fixed and filled the car with some fresh oil.The car start but instantly runs to high revs, the revs are lessened when i pull the choke out (which is the opposite of what its supposed to do right?!?) Before I go about fitting a new choke cable,as i think that is potentially the problem anyone got any ideas on what could be another issue.Throttle is responsive and fine and as to my knowledge not causing the high rev issues.
You guys think its the choke or could it be something else...when the car was just ticked over nice before i started sorting the oil leak,so dont think its necessarily a tunning issue, but im not massively experienced so i could be completely wrong
Thanks guys :)
