It doesn't use a servo, it replaces the servo.

Some racing component companies make servo replacement bias boxes but none fit as easily as the Kad one does, generally they mean butchering your original bell crank box due to the way the Mini unit is fitted but the Kad one replaces the whole lot. I think there's an AP one available and a Sparco one or something like that. Try Demon Tweaks or Merlin Motorsport for that kind of stuff.

£30 for a master cylinder (assuming that's what you mean) is pretty good really. Why are people always desperate to save money like this? "I want the best completely bespoke system available but I don't want to pay for it!" Well tough then, don't get it. Don't compromise on the quality of brake components, you ain't going to be glad of having that extra tenner if your car ends up upside down in a hedge with you trapped in it.

Whilst I agree with Dan's thoughts, I also feel that KAD have an 'ability' to overcharge for some things, especially those they box shift like oil, barke pads etc.

I am sure I have read before that the exact master cylinders they supply are available elsewhere at a more pocket friendly price. Are they not an standard(ish) AP unit?

Slightly confusing but I assume you mean the dual cylinder bias pedal box. The master cylinders they supply are 5/8ths and 3/4s although most people find that it gives too much rear braking. 7/8ths might be a better bet for the rears.

The cylinders they supply are wilwood, available from most places like Demon Theives, Rally Design, Merlin Motorsport etc etc. £26.50 + vat from rally design.
