Hi all,

Got a issue that my '76 mini is refususing to start and has done since the morning it was due for its MOT! Replaced coil, condenser, points (which are set correctly), distributor cap. Plugs are relatively new as are the leads. Checked timing and it's perfect. No issue with getting fuel as sparks are wet. Any help please?!?

Are you getting a healthy spark when cranking over?

As said above, check the spark, remove one ht lead and plug it into a spare spark plug, or take one out, then hold it against the head stud and turn it over, you should see a good strong spark. If there isn't a spark then its a matter of finding out why.

Try a dribble of petrol down the carb and see if it fires up
