i use the front corner of the subby as the rope will fit under the front panel at the end and wont catch on anything

i borrowed a towing eye of a mate and it was bolted through the front subby using the front mount or bolt on one side.. easy as pie , but remember you need a jack to take the weight of the bolt to loosen it

Do it round the right hand tie bar,it worked well for me twice, first time to paint shop about ten miles, then the other night when my fan belt snapped, and i havent got a bent tie rod yet. (Goes off to touch wood)

I know its been a while but I have a one man towing device, so i'd go home and get the other car and tow it home all on my own............ Even if I need to catch the bus home...... :mrcool:
