I thought my mini had a standard A engine with the 12G295 head. Turns out that I have an A+ with a 12G295 head. Does this sound right? Or am I just an idiot?

They didn't fit the 12G295 heads to any A+ from the factory, in fact, I think the last 12G295 heads ceased production around 1974.
It would have been retro-fitted.

Thanks guys! Just had to be sure I wasn't losing what little bit of mind I got left. This car seems to be put together from odds and ends someone had lying around. Oh well, at least she runs
