I bought WAH a few weeks ago unseen on eBay for £2200. I was lucky as she doesn't need much doing but it was a cold drive home from Newbury to Portland with a failing clutch and a plastic drivers window that wouldn't close. From the outside it looks like she needs one wing, lower front panel, both A-panels, two door skins and a patch in the boot. I got the container emptied out today so I can get her into her new home/workshop. I hate the green so she's going to be a different colour but not sure what yet. The engine is a 998cc  with a knackered clutch so I've bought a 1275cc race engine with high lift cam and twin 40 Webbers. Even though she is on an S plate she was built in '73 and exported then imported in '76.

That looks like an awesome project Jon.

I also have a clubman (1275GT) and live in Blandford, so not too far away from you.

Jurassic coast mini club meet in Dorchester every month - friendly bunch of you wanted to come and say hello!?

All the best with your project.

Simon.

I started stripping the mini down today, just the front end. So far it looks like I only need a lower front panel and to sort out the awful welding done by the previous owner. I seem to have bought the only fairly rust free Clubman around.
