I now realise why shaped metal tubing is used so it's securely routed away from hot exhausts! Can I buy pre-bent tubing, can't find it on minispares site.

Brake pipe is about the same size, so buy a length of that and cut and shape it carefully by hand. To either match previous or make a shape that keeps the fuel pipe well away for the exhaust manifold.

I bought a roll of 8mm microbore(boiler pipe) works a treat And is playable enough to need to bending tools
8mm (5/16 inch in old money) fuel pipe is good size for a well tuned motor. Smallest size to use is quarter inch (standard fitting with carbs).
Standard brake pipe is 3/16 inch and is too small, this size will likely cause fuel starvation and lean-out at full throttle.
