what about the wire through the bulkhead?
These normally a few holes the are blanked off which you can use to poke the wires though with a grommet to protect them from chafing on the body work and causing short circuits of worse fire.
Or the way I’ve done a few of mine is to poke the wire through a grommet that’s already being used.

Mine are under the boot, to the left of my exhaust... Can you see them? No - you can't! Unless you lay on the floor of course!

well i fitted mine in the boot.on a piece of mdf.and still sound ok putting them in the eng bay means taking them out whenever you have work to do.
