I have an intermittent fault where I lose power to the rear foglight switch, where is the fuse that goes to the switch, the car is a 1992 mayfair.

Thanks

Andy.

That circuit is unfused, test the switch for power in and out of switch, then check for power at the light end... Then check the fusebox and all wiring connections for corrosion(best to remove from the car, mark up all wiring and clean as necessary :)

Beat me to a answer, as above check the feed into and out of the switch, replace as required if there is 12v into the switch, but none out

Thanks for the replies, why in the Haynes manual does it show an inline fuse?

On my '82 and '85 they both have inline fuses, (one for the interior light and one for the fog I think) the fuse should be under the scuttle between bulkhead panel grommet and the grommet that takes the wires to the back of the car.

you can see them in my pic here above the carb.

Just had a quick look and the later cars did have a 10amp fuse for the rear fog light and they are indeed below the wiper panel as per Alexs picture, you wiring manual will show the colours im/out the fuse, i don't have access to a wiring diagram at the moment.

I think it could be blue yellow (maybe blue orange)
