Hi lads and ladies, just thought I'd share my own project here since its pretty much on the home straight.

I had some engine woes a few years back and was looking at a full rebuild but I faced a problem. I live smack bang in

the middle of Dublin city centre and owning a tuned mini (especially a 40 year old one) with gridlock traffic really isnt an option.

I had to make a decision to basically sell it or do something that would make it a bit more driveable in modern traffic.

My mechanic sugested I have a look at the Specialist Components kit and after a it of research we decided to go for it.

The clubman (although having an original GT block and various other bits) was far from original so I reckoned it was the

perfect car for the job.

Heres a photo of when I bought him

Thanks man, yeah MkII Mx5 seats as far as I know. Wasn't too sure about how they looked at first but after a few long distance spins I absolutely love them.

Brought the mini into the job earlier. He was having some horrible issues with fouling plugs so gave him a proper trashing and he's like brand new now.
