Something in my head is telling me that you need certain spark plugs when running a coil pack (car runs on specialist components ecu) so not the standard coil and dizzy..

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

anything resistor'd ( whioch they pretty much all are these days) so a standard SPI/MPI plug will be fine, NGK BPR5E or BPR6E the 6 is colder

Last few times my engines have been to the dyno i've been recommended BRE7E's over the 6's for running colder as above.

Noticed when the engines cold they seem to foul a little and sometimes misfire , but after warming up seem fine.

7's seem a tad cold if you ask me on anything other than a balls out forced induction motor or Nitrous oxide injection. Most use the 6's even in forced indiction. If it's not turbo'd, I'd definitely use the 6's.

did the 6's show signs of overheating to justify the change to 7's?
