I have just rebuilt my master cylinder that is late type fitted to a servo.

I have put new seals inside but I am stuck on the last part of rebuild.

The last part before putting the spring clip in doesn't seem to make sense!

I have a white plastic disc that has raised bits two larger tapered seals about 50p size a washer same size with two holes in and a plane washer.

I can not find an exploded view of the cylinder to show how these go.

On one of the old seals it looked like the white plastic bit goes behind a seal, but when doing that it distorts it and won't fit.

Also when all parts are put together them seem to squash to tight to fit!

does any one know how they are ordered to put back into cylinder.

I will try get a pic later.

There are two different seal kits for the close fitted servo cars. One for 1988-1995 and one for 1995 on.

Check with minispares for the one that you need.

Already have the seal kit, Just can't find what order they go back in!

Any exploded view of the master cylinder on line?

Need the final part that is behind spring clip that mates up with servo.

Can't find anywhere on line.

That picture of your seal kit looks nothing like either of the two seal kits I have just installed. (pre 95 and post 95 fixed to servo - green band).

Also both kits came with a diagram showing existing parts of the master cylinder and ones that need replacing, making it easy. That why I included the links to the MiniSpares kits in my previous post, so you could see the pictures.

The 1969-2001 Haynes manual also shows an exploded view of the type 4 tandem master cylinder and although this is the pre 95 version of the two green band cylinders the rubber seals are the same. The difference is, pre 95 has a final circlip and the post 95 has a plastic circular clip. As shown on MiniSpares website.

I hope this is some help.

Nope no help, they don't show the final part and what I got off mini sport did not either.

Its not the seal part in the plunger, its the final part to the servo.

The pic I have posted are the last parts to fit before attaching to servo, these don't seem to show on exploded pics of system!

If any one knows or has pic please post.
