Hello new the forum,
Looking for a genuine door hinge repair panel. Been told magnum panels, then told no they don't fit properly, any ideas. 🤔

You want a heritage panel just go onto minispares site you will find what you are after, stay away from the magnum panel it's not designed as a replacement panel

There are three panels to the A post.

As has been said, the Magnum panel is not designed as a replacement but a 'go over the top' repair panel and it just doesn't work.

 

If you are feeling brave, the A post components can be made up from sheet metal for repairing any rust damage easily enough. You just need to make sure that you have all the measurements before starting and work to them or the door may not ever fit again  :ohno:  :lol:
