pretty sure they must be on the seat or floor of the taxi that took us, i was trying to help the mrs get her strappy shoes on..... bloody police station doesn't open till 10am either so i'm waiting for her to get back so i can go down there... Managed to break into rusty and get the rain cover out and cover up ready for the hurricane.

if there standart type keys they rove only made 30 odd cuts...might be an idea to go to a mini specialist garage and somehow borrowing the cuts...southam mini and metro centre did that for my friend but with that the person who had the mini before him worked there so there friends

might be an idea to phone a mini garage see what can be done

If the locks are old, any Mini key should open it! :errr:

I thought there were 100 combinations, not 30... :-

i was told between 30 and 40 (which is why some of my friends can open each others doors) also the locking system is pretty cruddy anyway...di u say another cars keys were lost? manufacture would be my port of call for that 1
just make friends with a mini specialist will come in handy for other stuff :-

Cheers twice I may hot wire it later as sundays are for driving!!!!! the ignition barrel is under the dash with a start botton in the middle and not on the steering column anyway so i could just disconnect it and temporarily put a switch in its place.
