I'm pretty sure you can use your standard seatbelts
I've seen heaps with aftermarket seats (racing seats) with std seatbelts for road use.

Damages the seats where the belt's constantly rubbing and being pulled over them!

yeah i reckon you can use normal seatbelts with them.

i dont think they will get any more damaged tham any other car.

my 307 seats are ok.

They should be Ok as they are a reclining type of seat but they will wear.

They're a different shape to standard seats. The seatbelt will come across at the correct angle for the standard seat in any car... Unles it's adjustable of course! :-

with standard belts the belt might not actually touch you when sat in the seat so its not as safe. MOT could be tricky.
Simon

what you could do is un bolt then at the bottom lead it through the bottom harness guide that way when the belt goes over you lead it through the other harness side to the clip the lap belt will sit right over you and the shoulder belt will still go over the edge

The only way the belt doesnt hold you is if you weight 7 stone and are stick thin.
