My dad is handing down his project mini to me to use, and generally hug and be called "Monty".
It's a 1977 GT with the standard front end (Not the oblong clubman type) and is currently in the garage getting a new coat of nightfire red :)
However... He's managed to get a pair of 2002 Peugeot 206 GTI seats in the front. They're ok, and comfortable (Far more than what was originally in there apparently) but they seem big and the door-pockets have had to come out because of them. Not to mention the poor attempt to re-stain the seats black (But I can do that myself if needs be)
If I replaced them, I was wondering what the best seats to have would be? I was thinking along the lines of a pair of Cobra Recliners, as seen at huddersfield spares, as they may actually fit better inside the car.
What are everyone's thoughts? Ditch the 206 seats in favour of a new set? Get something second-hand that would fit better (Not necessarily meant for a mini, like a pair of MX5 seats)??
It'll be quite a while before I get my own grubby paws on it, but forewarned is fore-armed ;)
