I'm thinking about selling my old 1275 motor and box. It's a Metro engine, on a Hif38 carb, 3.44 diff. Ran and drove spot on, I was told it had 28000 miles when I got it (unfortunately no proof to show this) and I did about 5000 miles. It even got me a 18.6 sec 1/4 mile 😂. It's a cared for motor, regular services, new water pump, etc. Gearbox is nice, no crunching or whines.

Not the best picture, but shows what it is! Also, please don't PM with offers, I've got a list of people as long as my arm already wanting it

I'd say around £500 on eBay if it can be heard/seen running

But then you've got to deal with all the dreamers...

The last one I seen sold here went for $400, so somewhere in the region of £250.
Pop it under the bench mate.

£250 is well below what it's worth £400-450 is my guess

I have a few in storage not worth selling them as they are going u in value so I'll be buying them at the higher rate if I need to replace one

Cheers guys :-), pretty sure I've got a vid somewhere of it. I wasn't really sure of what it's was worth, but was hoping towards £600 (though I'm rather out of touch with mini prices!) I thought 1275's were getting rare! It's no in the way, so it'all stay for now

Maybe the colours would put people off
