I found this for sale on a back road and bought it.

I was concerned about the state of the body, even though it looked pretty rust free, so I started stripping it to bare metal.

So far everything is good.

It belonged to a grandmother who had it from new, basically she hit everything   .,

May actually be the reason it's so good, I've found accident damage and repairs everywhere, rear left has been repaired, right side, there are 'rubs' everywhere and it's had a new front wing.

A bit of hammer therapy has fixed most of the front valance. I'll get it as best I can, bog it, stonechip it then paint it. The rear wasn't as bad and will come up OK.

Quick Update.....

All the underbody is basically done, outside next. (needs more white stonechip)

Started on the outside, finding a fair bit of repaired minor damage, luckily not rust repairs.

Front Valance is rough but will pretty much be out of site so not worrying too much.

I'm considering sending it out to get the outside finished and painted.......I'll see how I go.

Not much done this weekend, dent out of front wing, indent in the rear panel was much bigger than first thought, it had been repaired a bit higher previously so lots of bog.

Bodywork's not my strong point....learning some panel beating techniques though. Love You Tube...
