Hi there
I Was thinking, would it be better to go for the BMW k 100 8v instead of the 16v if i would like a torque engine with lots of bottom end power instead of an high reewing screamer. I know the amount of work in the konversion is the same what ever head is used.

The only reason to go for an 8 valve would be if the 16 would not fit over the bores.
16v with suitable cam profiles.

Here is the rolling road screen shot for my 16v BMW headed 1380
Lots of torque throughout
Very impressive torque curve and from an relativ low rpm.
Is it HP on the wheels?
