Hi TMF

What engine number does an old 998 have? is it 9-AM like the old 850 is 8-AM?

The car is a 68 mini traveller mk2 998. BMH only have record on the engine as 3264?

Br

Possibly 9AD or 9AE.

In '69 they changed to 99H prefix system

I have 9AJ/H Prefix for the MKII Traveller in that period.

So, to put it altogether, it would read 9AJ / H 3264
