Who else thinks that the cars without wheel-arch extensions look much nicer and "cleaner'?

I do love the look, as you say clean and simple. But I got a set of W&P group 2's for my birthday

Yes I agree, an old Mini looks the part without the extra wheel arch extensions, it devalues them as well I think.

The very first photo of the red/black 1964 Cooper 'S' looks superb. It is clean and uncluttered with the period spot/fog lights and the external mirrors. Its stance looks just right too and it is in superb condition. The owner of it should be rightly proud.

That's the one that does it for me as well. All it needs is a set of Dunlops instead of the minilites......................

Not me, I appreciate standard cars and those modified without arch extensions but I am a fan of arches and the race look. It is good that we aren't all the same though, shows would be the dullest place on earth otherwise. 

 

I enjoyed the show, a couple of degrees warmer wouldn't have gone amiss though :)

Lovely pics, thanks for sharing, the green S reg Clubman is just lovely, I had one in that colour years ago, a 1976 MOT failure that I ragged around the fields as a teenager - happy days!
