Hello

I have been told by my local engine machine company that my engine needs a rebore. They have asked me to get new pistons 20thou oversize, from somewhere like Mini Spares, but I am slightly confused when looking on the Mini Spares website as to what ones I need.. can anyone help please.

Its a 1275 A+ engine - from about 1992 (originally and SPi).

The piston has some numbers on it as shown:

Thanks for your help

The 21253 pistons are what you want I believe, they are a good piston with a decent following. That's what I am putting in my SPi, and as long as you check the compression ratio will be suitable then they should be a good replacement for your current pistons.

See here: http://www.minispare...40.aspx|Back to

Infact the Minispares description even states the 21253 are the replacement to the 21963.

Hope that helps,
Cam.
