Soon I will be installing my headliner and I would like to use double sided tape because it is cleaner but I was hoping to get some opinions on the matter. I am aware that most people use glue and up until the 90's, I think, so did Rover but then they started using tape. The window and door seals hold the fabric in place and I plan on using some new clips from minispares.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I think I will try double sided tape first and see how that goes.

Just to complete the set - I used both. The tape holds while the glue dries.

Thixofix cotact adhesive. The stronger the glue, the more issue you may have later.

Deffinately the tape. Less mess, more control of where it goes.

Have you seen hot the roof gets in the summer, even worse if it's black....

Why heat resistant?

because if you leave the car out in the summer it can loosen the glue.
