Friend is doing the work he's messed around with minis for years and years.

bought stage 3 mini spares head (new)

Med roller rockers 1.5.1 15mm type (new)

and they dont fit or the rockers hold the valves open when adjusted to the max

So bought http://www.minispare...A1950.aspx|Back to image_zpsq5j5v5be.jpg

Messing around with spacers for mine ATM. 998 with a skimmed 12g295. I've noticed Mini Sport also do spacers, slightly thicker @  2mm. :tumble: I don't fancy stacking one on top of the other. Just want the one thick spacer. I don't think 2mm will be enough, as the Mini Spares ones are too thin @' 1.3mm.

MED do all different size shims, I needed to use them on my med 1.5's, though the head has been skimmed and the block decked.

Can't seem to find the shims? :tumble:  :shy:

Yes you will need the shims, they came with my Cooper S kit (that had 1.5 rollers on them)

They go UNDER the pedastles ;)

It's highly likely that you need to shorten your pushrods more than shim the rocker pillars to achieve proper geometry.

With such a low lift cam, I would expect an improvement using high lift rockers, especially with the well flowing 12G295.
