Well, my car's called "Tatty" and seeing as i'm doing so many little bits in it, i've decieded to just say sod it and do the whole thing with hammerite from tins.
should be... different!
and if it looks that bad, i'll rub it back down and send it from a proper spray..

My Mini is painted with Hammerite. Normal stuff from tins mixed with thinners and sprayed. Doesn't look too bad, apart from a few runs on the bonnet.

Bert did you know Shawn ?
Yes Shawn's mini was painted with hammerite, He and his dad sprayed it.
He was round at my place quite a bit, and when he told me it was hammerite I was surprised at how good it was.
We spoke about Re-spraying the car this coming summer but tragically Shawn was Killed in an accident
a few weeks ago at the age of 19...
He was a dear freind and one of the nicest guys you could even meet..
R.I.P. My Friend... Miss you lots..!!!
