Ok guys, so I know a lot of you will say "mini's aren't built for straight line speed" but i was wondering what everyone's 1/4 mile times are? Also, what setup were/are you running? A/series only please.

16's and 15's are realistic and fairly inexpensive times to achieve.

 

Back in the mid 80's I had a N/A Mini, 1293 cc, that on a single run pulled 13.094 seconds on 100 Octane at Castlereagh International Dragstrip

Mine did a 18.6 bog standard MG Metro 1275, Hif38 carb, 3.44 diff. Nothing to show off about, but gives me a benchmark for my engine swap

 and my 1293 runs 15.01s different gearing would give different times.

 

the fastest A series is in the 10s

A list here on turbo minis. Interestingly the best time is 11.12 with 280hp and only 440kg (16V turbo and N2O)

my best so far is 14.6;  turbo 1275 running 10psi;  2.9fd on 10's
